Wood clipping through floors

There is a problem with loading in small items. They tend to clip into the floor sometimes when loaded.

With wood this is an even bigger problem and seems to get worse the bigger the piece of wood is.

When you see someone with giant pieces of wood, you usually see them standing upright,
The reason is that it prevents the wood from sinking into the ground and disappearing.
